In Geography, we identified the difference between an epidemic and a pandemic. We learnt that the bubonic plague was one of the worst pandemics. We then discussed that COVID-19 was also a pandemic. After this we negotiated why a pandemic from years ago killed more and what resources we have now to manage a pandemic. At the end of the lesson we then recapped on the factors as to how we increase the population,  such as medicines, fresh water, a range of healthy foods. Where as many years ago all of these things we have were hard to come by or even non existent.
